if you could look into my mind and see
exactly what you mean to me
the feelings that i have for you
that made me start my life anew
and when i thought things were going well
it all became a sudden hell
my life got flipped upside down
thrashed and thrown around
and though im telling you that im fine
id like to say another line
i want to let you know im not
that id rather lay down, die and rot
my love for you is burning storng
but people say that i am wrong
that i should just give up the fight
that i have lost and should embrace the night
but they dont see, cant understand
that all i want to do is hold your hand
to hold you while your standing still
depressive feelings at a nil
i think of you i see your smile
and want to be with you for a while
as i watch from far behind
you never drift far from my mind
but il keep these feelings to myself
another poem on the shelf
and you may never see
exactly what you meen to me.
